Earlier this month Attorney Alfredo Estrada received notice of an approval for a Special Immigrant Juvenile application filed on behalf of his unaccompanied minor client. Alfredo was able to prove to USCIS that his client was under the age of 18, had no legal status, and had no parent or legal guardian that can provide physical custody or care. The first step in the process was obtaining the predicate order form the state court demonstrating that his client was abused, neglected, or abandoned.
